Some of the best times I’ve ever had going out have been when I go see local bands perform. Whether it’s going on stage to dance with the Twang Bangers or getting a ‘little bit softer now’ during a cover of “Shout!” I love being able to let my goose loose and shake my caboose.

The annual Blue Plum Festival in downtown Johnson City is one of our favorite events of the year.  We always take lots of photo albums on the streets, in the places and around the stages.  You can see our festival albums on the Blue Plum Festival album page.  This year, our friends Brad and Kendall took some video on the streets.  Take a minute to learn about all the biker parts and feather hair extensions available at the festival.

On June 3, 2010, popular country music star James Wesley played at Capone's in downtown Johnson City.  James Wesley is best known for his songs "Real," "Jackson Hole," and "Didn't I," all of which reached the top 50 on the U.S. country charts.  The Twang Bangers met Wesley in Nashville and invited him to play a show with them at home in the Tri-Cities.  Our photo album from the show can be found here.  We also took some video of Wesley performing Johnny Cash's famous "Folsom Prison Blues."

Popular 90's rockers Fuel came to Johnson City on May 14, 2010.  The show at Chrome was put together by local concert promoter Ansley Roberts.  You can see the photo album here.  We also headed to the balcony and took some video of their hit songs "Bad Day" and "Wish You Were Here."  Enjoy!

The popular local band The Twang Bangers have legions of Tri-Cities fans they've acquired over the last few years.  Way back in 2008, they looked a little different.  Their first show on the Tri-Cities music scene happened on April 18, 2008 at Cahootenany's.  We took a great album that you find here.  Sam Mays put together a short video of the event.  Enjoy!

Pages on TriCitiesNights are available to places (local bars, clubs, restaurants and venues), artists (solo musicians and bands), DJs, Promoters (concert and event), Karaoke Companies and Bartenders.  A TriCitiesNights page works much like a "page" on Facebook; it is a profile to showcase information about any entity that falls into the six categories listed above.  All pages also make up our extensive directories.  Information you can choose to provide on these pages varies by type of page, but may include a profile photo, contact information, hours of operation for places, place of residency for DJs, etc.  Some users with administrative access to these pages can also add events to our schedules.  This post will walk you through the process of setting up a page on TriCitiesNights.
