4th Annual Kingsport Oktoberfest

The aroma of bratwursts and pretzels fill the air, the sounds of polka music fills the streets, and over a hundred craft biers are on tap to fill your belly... Immerse your senses at the 4th annual Kingsport Oktoberfest, on Saturday September 13th, the largest Oktoberfest in Tennessee. Kingsport's Oktoberfest has been named a 'Top 50 Festival' for the second year in a row, by Blue Ridge Outdoor Magazine. They'll be plenty of activities on hand to keep everyone in the family entertained, from an assortment of live musicians, to a corn hole tournament, and even Wiener Dog races.

If you're competitive and would like to walk away with cash, be sure to sign your team up for the Oktoberfest Cornhole Tournament. The tournament is open to 96 players from the novice to experts, is double elimination, open for play, and will pay out $1,100 in prizes. Registration is at 10am and tournament starts at 11.

Get your Ph.D. in Bee.R. at the Beer University, where your brain and your taste buds are educated with yummy and unique beers you've never tasted before. Some of the brews in this class are made specifically for Beer University. Rare and Specialty Cask tasting will be available at different times throughout the day for you to sample while class is in session. Also, infusers will make unique brews on site, from a Coffee Porter to a Jalapeño Lager, and everything in-between. If you love beer, then don't be a fool and enroll in school.
