Hurt Band Photo

Rock band HURT is set to return to the TriCities on April 11th to play the Bonnie Kate Theatre in Elizabethton.  The concert, put on by TriCities Promotions, is all ages.  Those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  Local acts Seasons Of MeRoman Riot and aethereal will also open the show.  Tickets are $13 the day of the show and can be purchased in advance for only $10 through the TriCities Promotions Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/tcpromotions.

HURT has played in the Tri-Cities a few times before, including 2008 (event photos) and 2009 (event photos) at Capone's in downtown, Johnson City.  HURT last came through the Tri-Cities last November at Chrome (event photos).  The band was gracious enough to grant TriCities Promotions an interview that you can watch below:

HURT formed in Virginia in 2000 and now tour out of St. Louis, Missouri.  They were discovered in 2005. With the release of "Vol. I" on Capitol Records in 2006, their music quickly made its way onto rock music charts around the globe.  "Vol II" was released in 2007, followed by studio albums "Goodbye To The Machine" in 2009 and "The Crux" in 2012.  "Ten Ton Brick," arguably HURT's most popular song, received an award at the 2009 SESAC Awrads.
